A: Yes, meals will be provided and served in Redwood Dining Hall: Breakfast buffet: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Lunch buffet: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 a.m. Full service dinner: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. |

| Q: Is there a carpool list I can sign up? |
| A: There's no carpool list available at the moment. We highly encourage you to carpool with someone. If you don't have a car, then please contact hyle@diabetes.ucsf.edu. |

| Q: What time will the meeting begin? |
| A: Meeting will begin on Thursday, October 19th at 1:00 PM. Program agenda will be posted in October, so please come back again. |

| A: Yes, please park your car in designated parking spaces only. |

| Q: How do I know I have an assigned room? |
| A: Due to limited lodging capacity, it will be based on first-come/first-serve. After we have 100 people registered for lodging, then we will notify you whether or not we can accommodate your lodging. |

| Q: Will I be reimbursed for mileage if I use my car? |
| A: If you're a postdoc or student, please contact your Principal Investigator for approval before registering the retreat. For everyone else, you can consult your finance administrator. |

| Q: Where's the nearest gas station in Marshall, California? |
| A: The nearest gas station is located in Point Reyes Station, 15 minutes to the south |

| Q: If we can't use our cell phone, then is there a messaging service at Marconi? |
A: Please give this Front Desk Telephone, 415/663-9020 to callers who would like to leave a message for you. You may give them your lodging number androom number to expedite receiving emergency messages. Marconi post messages for guests on the message board as well. However, emergency message will be delivered. |

| Q: Can I make outbound calls and access the internet in my room? |
A: No, you will need to bring a calling card for phone calls. Unfortunately, most cellular phones DO NOT work at Marconi Conference Center. Yes, you can access the internet by using a modem but you will have to pay for it; there are no wireless internet connections in your room. However, Marconi has a Business Center which is located in the Pelican Building lounge where they provide free of charge the following services: - Internet/Email
- Computer with MS Office
- Laserjet Printer
- Photocopier
